Final prep for the foundation was done and the foundation was poured! There was also trenching and backfilling while protecting tree roots. The window in 139 was also fixed.

Week of March 6

  • Trenching with the rock saw was done this week. The deep trench from the building pad to and through the driveway will be for the fire sprinkler and the domestic water lines. The domestic water line continues on the north side of the parking lot.
  • The trench beside the existing building will be for the sewer lines.
  • After cutting both sides of the trench with the rock saw, the dirt is pushed back into the trench. Afterwards, the workers will excavate the entire trench with a backhoe. The rock saw is used to avoid extensive damage to the tree root system.
  • The plumber has dug the trench for the LP gas line and placed the pipe.
  • The concrete contractor has completed excavation of all the grade beams and is in the process of tying steel, setting forms, and placing the poly moisture barrier. They also poured concrete in the pavilion grade beams.

We hope that this weekly report is helpful and informative. Thank you for your continued financial support of this project and for your ongoing prayers!
